We'd Miss You
Emails are the main way GetUp members are alerted to opportunities to take action on issues they care about.
Without it, GetUp members wouldn't have been able to:
- Run a huge enrolment effort and High Court case, which allowed over 162,000 people to vote in the 2013 Federal election -- and in 2016, run a winning, hyper-local election campaigns across 46 electorates
- Stand up to big tax-dodging businesses and corporate overreach in trade agreements
- Come together all across the country for National Days of Climate action and events to save the Great Barrier Reef
- Protect the institutions Australians know and love, from keeping Medicare accessible to making sure we have a fully-funded ABC
- Push for fairer treatment of refugees, and more transparency of the atrocities occuring in detention centres
- Organise huge training events for the progressive leaders of the future.
In the year to come, GetUp members will be doing even more, and we’d love you to be a part of it.
